Our New Blog

Well I have decided to install a new blogging software on the site and the design has changed to a bit. This new software (WordPress) will allow me to change the design with ease, add cool features without coding them myself, and basically take the “work” out of blogging. So with luck, I (or maybe we) will be able to write more posts! And if you don’t like the design … don’t worry … it will probably get changed more often.

Happy New Year!
As many of you know I have finally finished my MBA. My degree was conferred on December 23rd. In case you were wondering I am taking a break from school for awhile. So … no doctorate for the foreseeable future.
We returned from an awesome vacation time in Florida. We saw family, the FSU game, and Disney! We even stopped over in New Orleans for a New Year Eve celebration!
Over the next few weeks we will solidify our plans for 2009. But we do know that we will be going to Iowa sometime this summer. We hope to take some mini-vacations within driving distance of Fort Worth.
Shantell and I married in 2001. We have now been married 7 years and a few months. In that time Shantell received her education master's degree. I got my bachelor's and two master's within the same period. We also moved to Texas in 2003. So we have been Texans for almost 6 years. We've bought a house, got a dog, and have been working ever since.
I hope to be launching a new blog site / design within the next few months. So … stay tuned!
